Case Study: Autodesk
Thought Leadership + Awards • Events + Engagement
Autodesk
Blue Practice worked with Autodesk to connect and inspire a global team, while supporting executive management and getting staff from around the world to connect through the power of ideas.
What we did
In our internal communications support for Autodesk’s Platform Solutions and Emerging Business (PSEB) division, we sought to create a more engaged talent base, a stronger internal network through a sense of pride and participation in a tremendous sharing of ideas, and the ability to cross-pollinate ideas with six other divisions of the company.
To do this, we developed and produced the “Inspired Speaker Series,” a lecture series hosted at company headquarters and shared around the world through video, that brought together innovative and inspiring personalities including Tesla Motors’ founder Martin Eberhard, Dwell Magazine’s publisher Michaela O’Connor Abrams, and Living Homes’ founder and green building pioneer Steve Glenn.
Highlights
In addition to elevating thought leadership and ideas within the organization, we also led learning field trips, including a special invitation to shuttle select team members to the green building expo, West Coast Green, and attend a special keynote presentation by Vice President Al Gore.
In the course of our work, we also generated tools and materials in the form of presentations, programs and event materials that furthered the PSEB group.
