Greenstart
Greenstart empowered fast cleantech companies – startups that could generate revenue in six months or less – with mentorship, resources and introductions to capital investors. In an industry that’s so often filled with long-term and cap-heavy investments, working with a group that’s as impatient as we are to get cleantech off the ground was as fulfilling as it was rewarding.
What we did
We led all the PR for the launch of the Greenstart program – messaging, media training, and press outreach – culminating with a packed house at the company’s launch of their office at 22 Battery St., where we worked with media and San Francisco Mayor Ed Lee to help cut the ribbon.
As the program continued, we continually engaged in storytelling for Greenstart and the model of incubating “fast cleantech” with consistent media coverage and event participation – right up to the program’s Demo Day, bookending our engagement with another opportunity to draw attention to the companies’ pitches to media and an investor network.
